EVENT DESCRIPTION: In its 11th year, the Downtown Walterboro Criterium brings Olympians and national champions to the town’s historic district for a night of racing.

Featuring a fast, flat course with lots of turns, the racing excitement along the Washington, Neyle, Hampton and Walter streets circuit is truly a spectator-friendly event.

Part of the USA CRITS Speed Week’s seven days of racing, the mid-series Downtown Walterboro Criterium is a favorite of the event staff and athletes. The headliner race, starting at 7:15 p.m. and continuing for 37 laps, features professional men’s teams racing at speeds up to 35 mph.
