This iconic American criterium kicks off the 2018 USA CRITS Series. The 38th running returns to the vibrant downtown streets of Athens, Ga that has seen the streetscape transform from a sleepy downtown into one of the most vibrant downtown venues in the Series. Five Speed Week events culminate in Athens and feature a men’s and women’s prize list of $100,000 for the week.
Held in conjunction with Gears and Guitars, the 5th annual Winston-Salem Cycling Classic features one of the most unique courses on the 2018 circuit with its figure eight design, utilizing an overpass, this event set at Bailey Park culminates with great music entertainment on Saturday. The event includes a full holiday weekend of races and cycling activities with a Gran Fondo on Sunday capped off by the UCI road race on Monday - Memorial Day.
Friday night’s USA CRITS race is part of a three day action packed series of races in Oklahoma’s capital city. The featured USA CRITS race in Midtown rolls through one of the nation’s largest night markets, H & 8th, providing approximately 30,000 spectators a front row seat to the action. Race down Madison Avenue in one of America’s most historic criteriums in the village of Harlem in the heart of Manhattan. Founded in 1973 by a former New York Police Officer, the Colavita-Bialetti Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic race truly becomes a community cycling festival. Don’t miss the chance to get a bite of the big apple in the 45th edition of this great event.
Few parts of the country have invested more in cycling than NW Arkansas. The Natural State Criterium Series combines 3 races in the nearby cities of Bentonville, Rogers, and Springdale. The USA CRITS race will take place Friday in Bentonville, home of retail giant Wal-Mart.
Typically falling just after BC Superweek, 2018 leads into the 32nd year of crit racing in downtown Boise. The event attracts 20,000 spectators to the steps of the State Capitol. This outdoor paradise will also be hosting America’s only UCI TT, Chrono Kristin Armstrong, and a new Sunday road racing event. ASWB is also on the USAC PRT calendar for 2018.

The birthplace of the mountain bike, Marin County, San Rafael can also boast a great nighttime bike race which supports Mike’s Bikes fundraising efforts that sends a container of refurbished bikes to Africa.
The Littleton Twilight Criterium is back for its sixth year for a full day of racing in the dynamic city south of Denver. It’s a free festival atmosphere featuring food, a beer garden, kids activities and live music on the streets and into the evening. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit South Suburban Park Foundation (SSPF), South Metro Housing Authority (SMHO), South Platte Humane Society and Littleton Schools Foundation.
Although the name has changed from the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium to the Benchmark Twilight Cycling Classic, you can still count on the fun and excitement of past 13 years.
